GETTING THERE
The two-hectare beachfront resort opened in the first quarter of 2012. It is approximately 250 meters away from the main entrance to Barangay Tan Pael. Getting there is relatively easy. The town of Tigbaun is the second town from the city of Iloilo after Oton. Once in Tigbauan it’s hard not to miss Bearland, just have your travel buddy eye at the left side of the road. After Sol Y Mar, you will see the Bearland sign which leads to a rough road. Just follow the road until you reach the resort.
The resort features Bali-inspired accommodations. It has 5 luxury cabanas with bedrooms good for two or for four persons. In every room, there is air-conditioning, satellite TV and wifi connection. The resort provides full services and amenities that will make your stay with them as luxurious as possible.
What’s a resort without a pool? In Bearland, the pools are great! They have 2 sophisticated pools: one for kids and one for adults. The kiddie pool is 2-feet deep and for adults, 4. What makes the adult pool a standout among others is that it has a “sunken bar” area. Here you can order drinks and other beverages and cool off at the same time.
For those who wish to have more fun under the sun, you can try their bamboo rafts or “balsa” designed to give you comfort and recreation. These rafts can accommodate up to ten people.
