Located in La Salette Building, Valeria Street, Dulgies Dessert and Café is the home Iloilo’s best homemade cakes and desserts. With its homey and cozy ambiance, the place is ideal for people who love to read and meet their friends and enjoy the best homemade dessert the city of love has to offer.
With its wide selection of pastries, choosing alone requires a lot of effort as it is so difficult to choose from their cakes. They have everything a person with sweet tooth can ask for. From the best cheesecakes in town to their decadent cupcakes, one cannot help but be amazed with the sinful taste of their offerings. However, there are some cakes that certainly stand out from their wide array of delicious pastries. One of my favorites is their Red Velvet Cake.
A layer cake topped with cream cheese or roux icing, the reddish color of Dulgies’ red velvet cake is enhanced by adding red food coloring. It’s super moist, soft … and so divine!
Dulgies also serves other baked delights such as brownies, puddings, muffins and fruity bars including assorted breads. Other than their to-die-for cakes, another favorite is the D’Club Sandwich. This layered sandwich is a favorite of the ever growing gastronomic adventures in the city of love, Iloilo.
And what dessert café has no cupcakes? I guess it’s safe to say that Dulgies serves Ilonggos with the best cupcakes in town. Thought there are many dessert cafés in the metro, only a few of them serve cupcakes. In Dulgies, there is a wide selection of cupcakes to choose from and they are just as yummy as their cakes.
