ILOILO CITY, May 4 (PNA) — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) here has served around 5,595 for its various services during their conduct of mobile services during the first quarter of 2015.

Joy Jalbuena of the PRC said that the mobile service was conducted in various provinces of Western Visayas where they accepted documents on filing of application for examination, initial registration, renewal of licenses, certification of passing and authentication of professional identification cards, board certificate.

In January, PRC deployed a team to Aklan, Antique, Guimaras and Bacolod City while a single mobile service was held in February in Capiz.

In March, teams were again deployed to Bacolod City and Antique. In April, they visited the cities of Cadiz and Bacolod in Negros Occidental.

The office intends to conduct 18 similar services until the end of the year.

A week-long mobile service is now ongoing in Antique starting today while on May 12-15, PRC will bring the service to Sipalay City and in Aklan this May 19-22.

Meanwhile, two more services will be conducted in Aklan; three in Antique; two in Capiz; one in Guimaras and seven in Negros Occidental until the end of 2015.

The mobile service was designed to spare applicants from further expenses as they need not go to the regional office to process their needed documents. (PNA)
